While you are at the Romney Farmers Market, there are many other places you may wish to visit that are within easy walking distance. You can stroll to the Coffee Cupboard Cafe for coffee, tea and other treats.  Or stop into gift and jewelry store Anderson's Corner.  Jeweler Tim Anderson will likely be at work.  In town bakery, The Cookie Tin is very close by. Julie the baker will be in there in her pastry chef hat. Across the street is Potomac Music where local musicians may be visiting. Appalachian string band music is big, as well as folks, bluegrass, and gospel. You can walk as far as Earthsongs Health Food store. You can also visit the visitors center at Taggert Hall. If its close to lunchtime, Mario's Italian is right by the Taggert Hall visitors center and Brickwood Hearth restaurant, in the old in town drug store, is right beside the courthouse.    B Belles Boutique also has many craft and gift items.  Just let your curiosity be your guide.
