Bank of Romney The Bank of Romney graciously allows the Romney Farmers Market to take place in the Bank of Romney Community Center parking lot. To date, there would be no gathering place without the Bank of Romney's support. Employees that work at the bank Saturday morning voluntarily park in another location on Saturdays during the market season. which is most appreciated.
Farm Credit If there is a dinner or event around town, Farm Credit is usually involved and graciously contributes to sponsorship of the event. They are very generous in that regard. Their annual customer appreciation dinner is a not to be missed local event. Their quarterly magazine, The Leader, does a great job of showcasing WV farms and growers. West Virginia University Extension Our county extension agent is Dr Gerald Leather, 304-822-5013 The local office has a wide range of resources that supports local agriculture, all just a phone call away.
Romney City Council
Additional sponsors are always welcome and additional support would be directed towards marketing and advertising expenses for the Romney Farmers Market.
