The items available at the Romney Farmers Market change as the season progresses. Its a wonderful way to eat healthy and local. Nature provides an abundance of natural energy in fruits and vegetables just when we are most active and outdoors in the summer. Just when we need the energy most. There is a distinct reason why sweet corn ripens in mid summer! The following is a list of items that you will be likely to find at the Romney Farmers Market, in somewhat of a seasonal sequence, but not in strict order, but with some general noted time frames of when you’ll find certain items.

Craft and Hand made items – Carry Bags, Dolls, Soaps

Pastured chicken – available continuously

Beeswax products – continuously
Sweet cherries – mid June
Summer squash – yellow, zucchini – starting mid June
Lamb – inquire
Tomatoes – starting late June
Red and Gold Raspberries – Starting about July 4th
Sweet Corn – starting mid July
Peaches – starting mid July
Sweet peppers – mid July
Heirloom Tomatoes – mid summer
Blackberries – mid July
Blueberries – mid July
Summer apples – start mid August
